Community Mediation Maryland
Community Mediation Program, Inc., is a private not-for-profit organization striving to “reduce interpersonal conflict and community violence and animosity by increasing the use of non-violent conflict resolution strategies and by making mediation more accessible in Baltimore city.”
CMP provides free mediation and teaches conflict resolution skills in neighborhoods, families, schools, businesses, and all across Baltimore. Since our first mediation in 1996, CMP has grown to a staff of 19. CMP also multiplies the impact of the community mediation movement by mobilizing volunteer community mediators, over 250 of whom are currently active.
